Freya

Terms of Service

Last updated October 20, 2026

In short: Freya is a free card collecting game on Discord. Play fair, keep to one account, and report bugs instead of using them. Credits, cards and everything else in Freya are part of the game: they're worth no money, and they mustn't be sold for any. Freya comes as she is, and she can change.

1. Who we are

Freya is a collection trading card game played on Discord. She's run by Freya's team ("we", "us"). These Terms cover Freya's bot in Discord, her Discord Activity and this website.

In these Terms, "Freya", "she", "her" and "the bot" all mean that service: the bot, the Activity and this website, together or each on its own. Freya is software that Freya's team runs, not a person. You can reach us at contact@freyatcg.com, or in the Freya server.

2. Agreeing to these Terms

You join Freya by pressing I agree under Freya's rules, through /register, a server's Join Freya button or her Activity. By joining or using Freya you agree to these Terms, and the rules shown there are part of them. If you don't agree, please don't use Freya.

If you add Freya to a server, you confirm you're allowed to. Each server's moderators choose where Freya plays there with /setup, and can remove her at any time.

3. Who can play

Freya lives on Discord, so Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines apply to you as well. That includes Discord's minimum age: you must be at least 13, or older where the law of your country requires it. Each person plays with one Discord account.

4. Freya's rules

These are the rules you agreed to when you joined:

  • Don't abuse Freya. No spamming commands, exploiting bugs or trying to break her.
  • Trade fairly. No scamming, deceiving or pressuring other players in trades or auctions.
  • One account each. No alt accounts for extra rewards, trades or giveaways.
  • Report bugs, don't use them. If something seems off, tell us. Exploiting a bug for gain gets you banned.

And one more: no real-money trading (see section 5).

5. Credits, cards and other items

Credits, cards and their copies, free packs, Blessed packs, chests and anything else you get in Freya are virtual items in a game. They have no value in money, can't be cashed out, and aren't your property: you may use them in Freya as these Terms allow. There's nothing to buy in Freya. Every item is earned by playing or given away by Freya.

No real-money trading. Don't sell, buy or swap credits, cards, packs or Freya accounts for real money, cryptocurrency, gift cards, items in other games or anything else outside Freya, and don't offer to. Doing so can get every account involved banned and its items removed.

Some items expire, and Freya says so when you get them. For example, a free pack from /daily keeps for 10 days.

6. Packs, odds and copies

A pack's five cards are drawn at random the moment it opens, and they're yours from then on. The chances are the ones /rates shows at the time. Events can raise some chances for a while, and /rates and /events show them as they are then. A Blessed pack's fifth card is the rarity it names or better. The odds are chances, not promises.

Each copy of a card gets that card's next serial number, and the first 100 copies of every card are 1st Edition. A limited card stops being pulled once all its copies are out.

7. Trades and the auction house

While a trade is open or an auction runs, Freya holds the cards and credits in it, so nothing can be spent twice. A trade goes through only when both players accept the same offer. A trade or a sale that went through isn't undone because one side changes their mind. You trade and sell at your own risk: we don't check whether a deal is fair.

Trading, the auction house and giveaways that ask for it open once your Discord account is old enough, you've played Freya for a while and you've opened enough packs, and Freya tells you what's left. Admins may lift this for players they know. The auction house takes a fee from each sale, and cancelling an auction costs credits. Each auction and its cancel button show what applies, and fees leave the game.

8. Events, giveaways and letters

Events, giveaways and letters from Freya's admins give virtual items only. They follow the rules shown with them, and they can be changed, ended early or called off. Giveaway winners are drawn at random among those who entered, weighted by their entries. A prize that isn't claimed in time may go to someone else.

9. Fair play and what we can do about it

To keep Freya fair we may, as we see fit:

  • ban a player from Freya. A banned player can't play, enter giveaways or receive letters;
  • remove or correct credits, cards and other items gained through a bug, an exploit, alt accounts, scams or anything else these Terms forbid, including what was passed on to other accounts;
  • call off trades, auctions or giveaways caught up in that.

Please report bugs and players breaking the rules in the Freya server or at contact@freyatcg.com.

10. Freya can change

Freya is still growing. We may add, change or remove features, cards, packs, prices, odds, rewards, fees and limits at any time.

  • Retired packs leave sale for good. Copies players already hold stay theirs.
  • A recalled pack is one that went out wrong. Every copy pulled from it is taken back, and every pack opened of it is refunded the way it was paid for: in credits, a free pack or a Blessed pack. Trades and auctions holding its cards are called off, and anyone who bought one of its cards at auction gets the price back.
  • Freya herself may pause, or stop for good.

11. Card art

The characters on Freya's cards come from anime, and their art belongs to its creators and rights holders. Freya isn't made by or affiliated with them, or with Discord. If you hold the rights to something shown in Freya and want it removed, email contact@freyatcg.com with what it is and where it appears, and we'll look at it and take it down promptly.

12. No warranty

Freya is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. She may be unavailable, slow or wrong, and data may be lost, even though we keep backups.

13. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for the loss of virtual items, arising from Freya or these Terms. Freya is free, and our total liability for any claim is limited to US$10. Some places don't allow these limits, and there they apply only as far as the law allows.

14. Leaving, and being asked to leave

You can stop playing at any time, and you can ask us to delete your data (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end anyone's access to Freya for breaking these Terms. Sections 5, 11, 12, 13 and 15 still apply after that.

15. Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to rules on conflicts of law.

16. Changes to these Terms

When these Terms change, the new version goes on this page with a new date, and we'll announce big changes in the Freya server. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the new Terms.

17. Contact
